Background
Hi! I’m Brian A Evans. I own and operate Green Mountain Homes.
I started the company in June of 1998.
Wood frame residential construction is the focus of the Company’s efforts. Green Mountain Homes builds new houses and remodels exisiting homes. I love design work and especially enjoy re-configuring the floor plans of exisiting homes as part of the remodeling process.
My prior professional experience was gained while working for a local builder and house mover for 17 years. During that tenure I labored, managed, designed and organized hundreds of building projects ranging from single family dwellings to multi-unit condominiums; house moving projects ranging from simple re-locations to complete remodels; subdivision developments from design to finished homes.
With a growing family, I completely redesigned our first two personal dwellings and we lived in them while reconstructing them. I currently live in a five year new home designed by and with my wife, Connie Ruffo. Two grown children, Brianna and Daniel, have moved on to their own lives and pursuits.
I arrived in Bellingham in March of 1981 from the Northeast. With more than half my life in Whatcom County I am firmly grounded here in the Pacific Northwest.
